One of the main activities will be the design, construction and launching of the so-called "Miuritas", water rockets that simulate the behavior of a real launcher such as PLD Space's MIURA 5. This activity allows working on principles of aerodynamics, physics and flight control, while developing critical thinking and decision making in real time.

The Hackathon

But that's not all. One of the most exciting challenges will be our Mars Landing Hackathon. In this challenge, the teams must design a system that allows a capsule - which protects an egg, simulating a fragile cargo - to land safely after a fall from several meters high. It is an exercise in design, simulation and testing, where real aerospace engineering concepts are applied. We call it a hackathon because, as in the technological world, participants will have a limited time to develop, test and present their solution to a professional jury.

The Mars Mission

In addition, participants will experience a simulated mission to Mars: this is an immersive group activity in which they will have to solve challenges related to survival, teamwork and exploration in a Martian environment. In this type of activity we promote important skills such as leadership, communication and adaptability.

All these activities, in addition to the great variety we already had, are designed so that boys and girls not only learn scientific concepts, but also experience them firsthand.
