This summer in Space Camp Valencia 2025<\/strong>, we are going to live a unique experience that unites science, technology and adventure with the help of professionals from PLD Space<\/strong>, the company that is revolutionizing the aerospace sector from Elche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missions:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new Miuritas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the camp, participants - young people between the ages of 10 and 17 - will be faced with real challenges<\/strong> inspired by current space missions. One of the main activities will be the design, construction and launching of the so-called \"Miuritas\"<\/strong>, water rockets that simulate the behavior of a real launcher such as PLD Space's MIURA 5. This activity allows working on principles of aerodynamics, physics and flight control, while developing critical thinking and decision making in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hackathon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

But that's not all. One of the most exciting challenges will be our Mars Landing Hackathon<\/strong>. In this challenge, the teams must design a system that allows a capsule - which protects an egg, simulating a fragile cargo - to land safely after a fall from several meters high. It is an exercise in design, simulation and testing, where real aerospace engineering concepts are applied. We call it a hackathon because, as in the technological world, participants will have a limited time to develop, test and present their solution to a professional jury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mars Mission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition, participants will experience a simulated mission to Mars<\/strong>: this is an immersive group activity in which they will have to solve challenges related to survival, teamwork and exploration in a Martian environment. In this type of activity we promote important skills such as leadership, communication and adaptability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All these activities, in addition to the great variety we already had, are designed so that boys and girls not only learn scientific concepts, but also experience them firsthand. With the support and mentoring of PLD Space professionals, they will be able to experience what it's like to work in the space industry for real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Space Camp Valencia 2025<\/strong> will take place between June 23 and July 25, with five weeks of expeditions in the facilities at Valencia Innovation Capital<\/strong>. Every week, a new mission. Every challenge, a new opportunity to discover scientific and technological vocations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
