Valencia City Council highlights the importance of Space Camp Valencia for young aspiring astronauts

The Valencia City Council, through its València Innovation Capital strategy, has highlighted on its website the significance of the Space Camp Valencia program, aimed at young people between 10 and 17 years old who dream of becoming astronauts. This coverage underlines the positive impact of our initiative in the educational and scientific community.

The Councilor for Tourism, Innovation and Investment Attraction, Paula Llobet, recently visited the Space Camp Valencia facilities. During her visit, the councilor was able to observe how young people participate in various space training activities, such as building rockets, exploring Mars with self-designed vehicles and simulating missions in the International Space Station through virtual reality.

Llobet stated: "With this camp, València establishes its position as a benchmark in innovation and science. This initiative not only encourages scientific vocations, but also contributes to the training of future professionals who will drive the development of our city. I am convinced that many of these young people will become the leaders of the new space age".

The Space Camp Valencia scholarship program, supported by companies such as PLD Space, Power Electronics, SPB and Teika, as well as public institutions such as the Universitat Politècnica de València and the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, ensures that talented young people from vulnerable families can access this elite educational experience.

The coverage by the Valencia City Council is a recognition of Space Camp Valencia's effort and dedication to inspire and prepare the next generation of space explorers.
