Will you be the next astronaut to conquer the universe?
🧑🚀El Ambassador's challenge 🚀
Do you want to get wonderful rewards and achieve recognition from our ambassadors?
Our ambassadors are references within the space industry for their professional work, for their commitment to dissemination and because they represent what we want to transmit in Space Camp: inspiration, rigor and future.
Face the different challenges proposed by each one of them in their area of knowledge. If you manage to overcome their challenges, you will have become a true space prodigy, prepared for any setback that may arise on your way to space.
Badge: ASTROPHYSICS

Doctor Fission
Science communicator specializing in physics and astrophysics.
Challenge:
"Video: Universe in 60 seconds":
You will have to explain a complex concept of the cosmos in less than a minute, in a way that anyone at Space Camp will understand, demonstrating your critical thinking and research skills.
Ability:
Understand and explain phenomena of the universe using critical thinking and observation.
Badge: MISSION CONTROL

Adrian Mora Boluda
Flight Director of the Columbus module of ESA's ISS.
Challenge:
"ISS Mission":
Complete an interactive Virtual Reality review of the different ISS modules and verify the operation of Columbus.
Conduct an extravehicular activity (EVA) to check the exterior of the ISS.
Ability:
Lead flight operations and systems maintenance, payload monitoring and coordination of docking events on the Columbus module of the ISS.
Badge: COMMUNICATIONS

Marta Blanco
Project Director Out of Orbit.
Challenge:
"Controlled Chaos":
You must be able to communicate in an environment with distractions, noise or time pressure.
- Space Team
- Keep talking and nobody explodes
Ability:
Deliver messages accurately and effectively, coordinating with other teams and solving technical communication problems.
Badge: ASTROBIOLOGY

Josep Calatayud
Aerospace Engineer and channel creator Mission Control.
Challenge:
"Debate: Life on other planets.":
You will have to research and propose, argue and defend a reasoned hypothesis about where to look for life in the universe and how to detect it.
Ability:
To understand the principles that sustain life, investigate its possible origins and assess the conditions necessary for it to exist beyond Earth.
Badge: SPACE ENGINEERING

Raul Torres
Founder and CEO of PLD Space.
Challenge:
"Miurita":
Design, build and launch a functional rocket, justifying the technical decisions taken, optimizing its range and stability.
You will also have to evaluate the results of the launch and propose improvements as an aerospace engineering team would.
Ability:
Apply engineering knowledge to solve real-world challenges related to rocket design, construction and launch.
Badge: PLANETARY ANALYSIS

José Lorenzo Álvarez
Mission Leader of ESA's PLATO project.
Challenge:
"Mars Mission".:
Equipped with a handheld spectrograph, the crewmember must walk the surface of Mars in virtual reality, scan different areas and analyze the spectral data to identify signs of water, carbon or other indications of possible past or present life.
Ability:
Analyze the Martian terrain with a spectrograph, interpreting signals in the infrared spectrum that may indicate the presence of organic compounds or conditions compatible with life.
