TV interview with Ximo Rovira in À Punt

Yesterday we experienced an exciting moment in the À Punt program, "Som de casa", where Ximo Rovira and Gema Payá interviewed us live. During the broadcast, we had the opportunity to show what makes Space Camp Valencia unique and to listen to two of our scholarship participants, who shared their stories and their passion for becoming astronauts.

Young people inspired to conquer space

The featured guests of the interview were two participants who received scholarships thanks to our promoters. They talked about their passion for space and how Space Camp Valencia will allow them to live the experience of becoming aspiring astronauts for a week.

Exploring the ISS in virtual reality and demonstrating aerodynamics in a wind tunnel

One of the most impressive moments of the interview was when we showed our virtual reality experience on the International Space Station (ISS). Thanks to this technology, young people can experience what it's like to move and work in zero gravity, holding on to the handrails and performing tasks like a real astronaut.

In addition, we brought a wind tunnel to the set to demonstrate how the aerodynamics of a rocket work. Participants and presenters were able to see live how wind forces affect the design and performance of a rocket, highlighting the importance of aerospace engineering.

Thanks to our partners

We could not make this happen without the support of our supporters and collaborators. Thanks to their commitment to education and innovation, we are able to offer scholarships to talented young people who would otherwise not be able to live this unique experience. In the interview, we also had the opportunity to publicly thank them and highlight how their support is changing lives.
