Madrid is Scienceorganized by IFEMA and the Community of Madrid, is one of the largest science fairs in the country, with thousands of visitors and the presence of educational institutions, research centers and outreach organizations from all over Spain. Among the aisles of the fair Madrid is Science 2025, one of the spaces that most surprised young and old was our stand of Space Camp Valencia.
Our "grain" of sand
During the three days of the event, we recreate a Martian surface to scale using kilos and kilos of red sand and rocks, and we let the public driving a rover on this simulated terrain, experiencing firsthand what it would be like to explore the red planet.
The activity was part of our mission at the fair: to raise awareness of Space Camp and how through play, immersion and direct experience, our crew members approach the great challenges of space exploration. Seeing the faces of amazement, curiosity and excitement of those who approached our Martian corner was a reward difficult to describe.

Creating very "spatial" connections
In addition, the fair allowed us to connect with other exciting projects such as The Pink Forcethe movement led by Andoniwith whom we share vision and purpose: to inspire new generations through science, equality and creativity. Undoubtedly, an interplanetary friendship that we hope to see grow.
