One of the key experiences of the Space Camp 2025 will be our visit to PLD Space headquarters. This is the result of our new collaboration with this leading company in the aerospace sector. This is a unique opportunity for our participants to get a close look at the place where the most advanced space vehicles in Spain are designed, assembled and tested.
PLD Space Headquarters
PLD Space is headquartered in the Elche Business Park. The company's design, integration and production activities are housed in a 2,500 m² building specially designed for the company's design, integration and production activities. The building, distributed over two floors, has areas dedicated to technical development, clean rooms for handling delicate components and rocket assembly areas, such as the MIURA 1 and MIURA 5.
During the visit, our campers will be able to understand how an idea is transformed into a vehicle capable of flying into space. They will also get to know the environment in which one of the most innovative teams in the industry works, in a facility where aerospace engineering, precision and cutting-edge technology coexist every day.
