Space careers have become one of the industries with the greatest investment and projection on the planet.
Space Camp Valencia is attracting significant media attention after announcing its revolutionary scholarship program. This program is aimed at young people between the ages of 10 and 17 interested in space exploration, making Valencia the first city in Spain to offer this type of opportunity. With the backing of the partners PLD Space, Power Electronics, Teika and American Space Valencia, together with the collaborators Las Naves, Valencia Chamber of Commerce, AVRE and the organizers Escuela de Ciencia, this camp is positioned at the forefront of education and inclusion in the aerospace field.

Camp participants will have the unique opportunity to fly ultralight aircraft, experience zero-gravity conditions, and receive training on a gyroscope. In addition, Virtual Reality will allow them to navigate the International Space Station. The program also includes workshops to build and launch rockets, to design a rover to explore Mars and to study the galaxies, thus combining theory with practice in a highly stimulating environment.
This comprehensive approach seeks not only to foster STEAM careers, but also to make science accessible to everyone, regardless of their economic situation. With a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a five-week cycle starting June 24, Space Camp Valencia is a clear example of how the local community is becoming a hub of innovation and a national benchmark in the space industry.
With the space industry attracting global investment from the likes of Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, Valencia is not only following in the footsteps of large government agencies, but it is also standing out as a center of innovation with its firm commitment to the future of young talent.
